To provide financial support for CWS Virginia Immigration & Refugee Program (IRP) offices (Harrisonburg, Richmond and Newport News).

Essential Duties:
Prepare and distribute local disbursements for CWS Virginia IRP offices and enter all necessary information into the Accounting System.
Research all disbursements to ensure that duplicate payments are not made and verify that no accounts are overdrawn.
Prepare monthly reimbursement requests and expense reports for all programs. File monthly reports and invoices for all state programs.
Provide monthly budget vs. actual program reports and analysis to Virginia office directors.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly journal entries.
Provide necessary financial data by program and assist in budget preparation.
Assist grant program staff in recording, reconciling and analyzing financial data.
Perform other related duties as requested.

Education:
Accounting degree or advanced education/experience in an accounting or finance related field.

Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years work experience in accounting or finance.

Other Skills:
Strong computer skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Able to give close attention to detail.
