The School of Education seeks a dynamic academic leader. Responsibilities include program and curriculum leadership; faculty development and evaluation; budget management; program assessment and accreditation; external relations with public school partners and the community; and collaboration with content discipline faculty.
Qualifications: earned doctorate in education or closely related field; successful P-12 teaching experience; experience with strategic planning, program development, and integration of technology into curriculum and instruction; dedication to standards-guided performance-based teacher preparation; strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; and ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, students and programs within the University and P-12 schools.
Tenure track position, available July 1, 2013. Ten-month contract with summer stipend.
