The Travel and Accommodations Coordinator is responsible for the travel, transportation and lodging requirements for the patient based on the needs established by the clinical appointment schedule and preferences of patient and caregivers. Coordinates travel for accompanying family/caregivers. Makes informed decisions in meeting the patient’s travel and lodging needs and provides the patient/caregiver with a complete overview of their travel itinerary. Responds to all customer (patient, caregiver and stakeholders) in a warm, genuine and professional manner Communicates with their scheduling partners and representatives from Corporate Travel, transportation and local area lodging to ensure all guests have a correct arrival and departure date.
- High School graduate
- Two (2) years medical office experience preferred
- Light typing skills/keyboard knowledge
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Knowledge of medical information and terminology preferred
