Overview •This is a sales and relationship management position with primary responsibilities of servicing and expanding new and existing affluent customers. •Initially introducing the client to the Citi platform and subsequently servicing and deepening relationship by offering a wide array of financial services (including banking and investments) products according to client needs while protecting the bank and the client by complying with relevant policies, procedures, legal and regulatory framework. - Candidate should develop and deepen client relationships to thoroughly understand the client needs. •Build and draw upon a network of internal resources, often global, to achieve results for clients; oversee development of tailored and/or complex products. •Develop and adapt a disciplined sales process to convert a robust pipeline of prospects into target market clients. •Deliver quality client relationships (solutions and services) in a intensely competitive, fragmented market, taking fullest advantage of the Citibank franchise. Effectively access product expertise on behalf of clients. •Protect the Bank and client by complying with relevant policies, procedures, and country legal/regulatory requirements; effectively communicate client risks so the customer fully understands. Principal Responsibilities •Create, organize and implement an affluent strategy designed to deepen relationships with existing clients and acquisitions. *Build offshore banking business and deepens relationships through the execution of an effective sales process. * Executes banking, brokerage, credit transactions and non-traditional actions to service accounts •Determine prospect needs, assess financial status, discuss financial options, identify sales opportunities and close the business. •Identify potential sales opportunities with existing clients; actively manage and deepen the client relationship. •Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in keeping with the policies of the business. Profile and qualify prospective clients, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and compliance framework (KYC). •Proactively analyze client needs and identify value added opportunities. Offer an array of banking and investment, products to meet client needs. •Continuously, focus on AUM and footings growth. •Handle inquiries and resolve problems whenever contacted by client. •Work closely with investment professionals and assistants of their team and refer clients as necessary. •Act as back up to other designated Bankers or Financial Executives. •Strong contributor to the team work. *Integrate sales and referrals activities within International Personal Banking and Citi International Financial Services Qualifications
Master Degree preferred.
Sales experience in the affluent market segment preferred
Experience in working with and/or leading clients
Experience integrating and balancing diverse priorities
Experience in selling new products, based on client need
Experience in working on teams and influencing diverse resources
Interested in working for Citibank Affluent Client Segment
Strong Relationship Building Skills with HNW Clients
Securities licensed, Series 7 preferred
Strong communications and influencing skills
Good knowledge of Investment Products, Asset allocation experience preferred
Strong Team work skills
Full knowledge of Anti-money Laundering and Know Your Customer requirements for Non-Resident Aliens.
Full knowledge of banking and investment account opening processes and requirements.
Full Spanish and English skills (verbal and written).
Above average ability to sell and explain financial instruments.
Ability to team works with local personnel to establish an effective acquisition channel.
