This is a great position if you are interested in Project Management, and Production. There is an opportunity to handle logistics and assist in the management of the promo production process from conception to the final product. Candidates should be highly organized, able to multi-task and take initiative.
Support the production of promotional content for top-ranked cable network programming grid.
Create and maintain Production Schedules, updating as dates shift and keeping the team aware of new timelines.
Produce and distribute the weekly status document.
Collect and code invoices from vendors.
Assist project manager with quarterly accruals.
Coordinate and Schedule edit, audio, voiceover, end credit, billboard and graphic sessions with in and out of house facilities.
Populate Jobsuite with monthly project assignments.
Enter all info into Promo Inventory Database and field USA House # requests for freelance writer/producers when assigned.
Compile music cues from producers and send reports to NBCU Music team
Distribute project assignment charts for all non staff personnel.
Field the “Missing” emails by giving status of missing promos to the Media Operations Center.
Back up to Special Projects On-Air Production Coordinator as needed.
College degree preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & File Maker.
Position may require use of a company issued Blackberry.
There will be some overtime and remote weekend work.
1-2 years Post Production experience preferred.
