Must have three years of professional, administrative or business experience.

Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Description of Job Duties
This is a federally funded time-limited (FFTL) position. It is a position that is paid entirely as the result of a federal grant. The duration of employment shall not exceed the life of the federal grant that funds the position. An employee appointed to an FFTL position is required to meet the minimum requirements for the classification. Further, an employee appointed to an FFTL position is designated as an unclassified (non-merit) employee. An FFTL employee is eligible to receive benefits at the same level as a classified (merit) employee in a permanent position.
Provide professional support to staff of Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI) Program. Schedule training programs and conferences and arrange travel for Branch/Section staff. Assist with preparation, editing and revision of education materials for HAI training/lectures. Assist in planning, notifying and maintaining records of participants attending any scheduled conferences, create program registrations in KY TRAIN. Provide communication link with collaborative partners and public through managing phone calls and HAI website. Complete correspondence, annual reports, documents and data sets on behalf of program under supervision of HAI program manager. Assist with development of questionnaires, surveys and complete reports about disease surveillance. Interpret policy and procedures regarding time and attendance and travel.
