Sodexo is searching for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounts Receivable team in Williamsville, NY. This position will ensure the integrity and accuracy of sub-contracted vending sales, commissions and fee reporting. Investigate and resolve issues. Additional duties include:
Analyze and resolve assigned general ledger accounts. Set analysis standards and provide guidance to AR Vending Service staff to resolve general ledger issues.
Create and Distribute routine and ad hoc financial reports capturing activity from Vending and Micro Market activity for internal customers.
Partner with finance and Vending operations in collection efforts for outstanding receivables.
Interpret and implement agreed upon contractual terms and standard accounting treatment standards.
Assist in creating and maintaining documentation: i.e., Administration and Finance Topics, work instructions and departmental desk procedures.
Communicate with all levels of the organization.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1 year of experience in a staff accountant of related position.
Intermediate skills in Excel

Position Summary:
Performs professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. May include any or all of the following: ledgers and preparation of journal entries; fixed asset or inventory accounting; preparation of trial balance or financial statements; cost accounting; bank account reconciliation.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's in Accounting
