Our growing retail division is a great place to start your Sony career! We have a new store opening in our Century City mall location in March 2011. Please read below for details on our Part Time Stock Clerk opening.

As a Stock Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
Create a fun and engaging environment for our customers

Greet all customers in a warm and genuine manner

Receive, process, and display all incoming merchandise daily

Perform inventory management processes to account for all merchandise

Ensure availability and accessibility of all merchandise from stockroom to sales floor

Organize, maintain and clean the stock area

Make recommendations in a confident and thoughtful manner

Promote Sony product with enthusiasm and passion

Work as a team to ensure our customer receives the highest level of service

Fulfill any other store related duties requested by store management and determined by business needs such as sales, visual display, cleaning and inventory management

Qualifications

Must possess the following skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to provide a high level of customer service

Strong attention to details

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and customers efficiently and graciously

High level of self leadership

Knowledge and enthusiasm about consumer electronics

Ability to build relationships with customers and team members

Demonstrate a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative

Learn new processes and procedures quickly and efficiently

Strong organizational skills and attention to follow through

Additionally, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School diploma or the equivalent

Have a minimum of 6 months of previous retail, customer service or equivalent experience

Have a minimum of 6 months of previous stock/warehouse experience

Be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends

Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb a ladder (up to 20 feet), and lift 50 pounds, all with or without reasonable accommodation
