The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is searching for a tenure-track faculty member in computer science to assume duties in August 2013.
The faculty member is expected teach both graduate and undergraduate courses, help the department to carryout its industrial collaboration program, and help in recruiting students. Moreover, s/he is expected to sustain a credible research program, bring resources to the department, engage in curricular pedagogy, and advance the department’s agenda at college and university forums.
Diversifying faculty is a high priority for the department. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
Earned doctorate in computer science by an accredited institution by 16 August 2013.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
An established record of publications in computer science and grantsmanship; demonstrated commitment to engaging students in the classroom, and/or undergraduate research, and/or other activities in computer science.
Experience in working with industry; research in computer security, databases, data mining, or data warehouse; can teach technologies such as SAP , Oracle, etc.
