Essential Job Duties
The Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to estimate the impacts of climate change on freshwater sustainability over the Sunbelt. Link AR5 climate change projections with integrated surface water and groundwater models. Investigate the impacts of climate change on hydrologic extremes.
Advise the graduate students who will be working in the project and also to handle the land-surface modeling challenges involved in the project.
Ph.D in hydrology and water resources or a closely related field.
Should be familiar with the climate of Sunbelt and freshwater sustainability issues over the Sunbelt

Able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, collaborate across disciplines, and develop strong externally funded research programs.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
2-3 years of post-doctoral research on hydrology or related field
