Write device drivers (LCD, eMMC, Light Sensor, Accelerometer, USB, Touch, etc.) and integrate with Android to demonstrate functionality. Debug hardware/software as needed. Measure and optimize performance of Linux kernel or device drivers. Develop abstractions to hide platform specific capabilities.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressively responsible experience as a BSP Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer or related position. Position also requires the following: five years of experience coding in C/C++; three years of experience working with embedded systems, platforms and RTOS; three years of experience with embedded hardware including either TI-OMAP, Qualcomm MSM, Marvell-StrongARM, or SC64xx application processors; one year of experience with Google Android Architecture; one year of experience with (internals) contemporary mobile platforms including either Symbian, Windows Mobile (CE), Linux-mobile, BREW, or equivalent; experience with JTAG debugger; and experience hand-coding critical routines in optimal assembly language ARM/Thumb.
