: The Tioga Gas Plant is seeking a gas meter technician to work with-in the Tioga area gathering system, supporting Gas Plant and Hess Production metering locations. Maintaining electronic gas meters, radio field telemetry system and installing new well metering equipment.
Roles/Responsibilities
:
Working knowledge of AGA measurement standards and knowledge of gas laws.
Detect measurement errors, correcting volumes and documentation of corrections.
Familiar with GPA gas sampling procedures
Knowledge of Bureau of Land Management and North Dakota Industrial Commission laws and regulations.
Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate dry flow and electronic meters.
Meter tube design: knowledgeable of standards, equipment and physical inspection.
Familiar with telemetry equipment: install and troubleshoot communication conflicts.
Good verbal and communications skills
Capable of working together and sharing knowledge with team members.
Ability to work with and understand the safety requirements with high pressures and up to 40% H2S gas.
Physical requirement: ability to carry 75 lbs. a minimum of 100 ft.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities while meeting work deadlines.
Positive attitude
Knowledge of EHS requirement and practices.
Qualifications
Experience
:
Preferred minimum of three years measurement knowledge with the oil and gas industry.
Algebraic math skills a plus
Intermediate computer skills
Education
:
High School diploma is required
