Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Compensation Analyst opening to join our Global Compensation organization.
Day to Day (what a typical day or week look like in this role)
Today you will be submitting the salary surveys, analyzing compensation data and keeping the internal job ladder up to date. Tomorrow you will be administering one or more total rewards programs for the executive and broad base employees. You will also be working with various compensation system applications like Successfactors/SAP/eTrade.
What You Will Do
Submit broad based salary surveys for Whirlpool
Evaluate the market data, maintain and keep current data, documentation and records on salary and all pay program actions.
Compare jobs to general and specialized pay practices surveys.
Conduct evaluations based on profiles, internal data, and market data
Audit exempt status of positions to ensure adherence to FLSA standards.
Run regular queries to audit the data accuracy in various systems
Run analytical queries for HR business partners and for compensation group
Work with various systems like SAP, Successfactors and manage day to day transactions.
Support day to day transactions on equity programs
Support year end merit process
What You Need To Succeed
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and hands on experience on database applications
1-2 years experience in human resources with concentration in compensation administration is preferred.
Mathematical aptitude, analysis skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Familiarity with human resource information systems is a plus
Has a concern for accuracy, passion for quality work and timely delivery.
Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive data appropriately.
