This position is responsible for coordinating market research initiatives from beginning to end. The incumbent, working with the direction of the Manager, Market Assessment or Manager, Consumer Research and Director, Market Strategy, is to provide analyses which will be used to develop, implement and execute market strategies and plans to achieve annual and long-term business goals and objectives for new sales and retention of current members. This position will obtain information about the industry, and the market to be used for strategic and tactical application. The incumbent will be responsible for segmentation; the preparation of ad-hoc analysis; and assuring that all analysis of the outcomes of such projects result in credible, reliable and meaningful tools for assisting senior marketing management and others in meeting corporate goals and objectives.

Key internal stakeholders: Sales, Account Management, Network Management, Product Development, other areas under the direction of Director, Market Strategy and/or VP Strategic Marketing.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the research process, including identifying research objectives, recommending appropriate research methodology, selecting and managing market research partners, developing analysis plans and designing questionnaires and discussion guides, implementing and analyzing research, and reporting on findings.
Manage all tactical aspects of the BlueVoice online research panel, including the development and programming of surveys, the deployment of surveys, and the analysis of survey results. Also responsible for actively recruiting new panelists and keeping current panelists engaged.
Analyze survey and questionnaire data conducted and compiled throughout the organization to identify common trends and themes in the group market, and provide insight as needed.
Act as a consultant to internal clients, understanding their research needs and providing them with actionable insights.
Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field (business, business science, marketing or marketing research)
At least three years experience in marketing and/or marketing research in B2B or B2C environments required
Healthcare or health insurance industry experience preferred
Experience with bivariate and multivariate research analysis, including regression, correlation, max-diff and cluster analysis.
Experience with A/B testing, segmentation studies and modeling
Solid experience with SQL and Cognos BI preferred
Experience with SPSS or SAS software
Strongly proficient in Excel, Xcelsius and PowerPoint
Strong mathematical skills, analytical/research skills and mastery of statistical techniques to transform raw data into insights
