Join Zynga working on accounting and financial reporting! As a part of the General Ledger Team you will help with month-end close and the building out of Zynga’s policies, procedures, and internal controls. The work is ever-changing and ideal for a highly analytical problem solver who has an interest in corporate accounting.

Prepare reconciliations for general ledger account balances in preparation for the month-end financial statement close.

Identify, document, develop and implement various internal controls within Zynga Finance.

Contribute to the development of the finance function in areas of rapid organic growth.

Help navigate new accounting issues for Zynga.

Assist finance functional teams on special projects including new system implementations, new policies, and cross functional issues.

Assist on ad hoc financial analysis where needed.

Assist cross functional teams such as HR, Legal, Network Operations, and Studios on joint initiatives.

Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Strong analytical skills, exceptional organization and time management skills, and ability to work autonomously.

Interest in project management and attention to detail.

Professional judgment and ability to interact with different levels of management.

Relationship-building skills; effective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.

Willing to work with a team and in a variety of individual contributor roles.

Understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards.

Proficiency with MS Office required.
