Has complete understanding and application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards. Performs work of complex scope. Works under general direction, participates in setting assignment objectives; plans own task schedule to satisfy objectives; work is reviewed for adequacy on completion. Provides principal support to the project management team in the effective administration of the prime contract between the company and the customer. With the project team, identifies the contract baseline. Prepares an analysis of the prime contract general terms and conditions to highlight areas of potential risk such as ambiguities, omissions, and conflict; as work proceeds, assists the Project Manager in mitigating those risks that arise; closely monitors and supports remedial actions as necessary. Administers activities associated with contracts for services, purchase of equipment, materials, or products. Participates in and/or conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities: Provides for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications: Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness: Prepares bids, processes specifications, progress, and other reports, advises management and project personnel of contractual rights and obligations: Implements contract modifications, data management and coordination with subcontractors: Reviews subcontractor bids for conformity to contract requirements.
Training and Experience 4-6 years of experience required.
Other Essential Functions Ability to accept project field assignments is required.
