Seeking a Therapist to provide professional outpatient assessment and individual therapy services as well as group treatment services to adults and children utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. Competitive applicants will have clinical knowledge and experience providing services to adults and children with mental illness, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders; have a wiliness to seek on-going training for promoting professional growth and development; encourage and coordinate family and client support systems to play active role in treatment; coordinate patient care with appropriate referral sources within the community; and assist in community relations and referral development. This position is 32 hours per week.
Bilingual preferred. Experience working with diverse cultures and communities. Candidate will be skilled in diagnosis and treatment of substance abuse and mental illness. Candidate will be able to maintain a flexible treatment approach to create a non-confrontational and non-judgmental atmosphere. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word and Outlook) and well-developed verbal and written communication skills to utilize electronic clinical record system. Reliable transportation required. Master’s degree in psychology, counseling or social work required. Licensed preferred, licensed eligible required.
