The Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for the overall growth, retention and strategic planning of their assigned accounts. Primary responsibilities include working with the assigned client and CVS Caremark internal resources to plan and execute provider initiatives in the Hawaii market, driving key client and CVS Caremark activities, programs and delivering effective results. The AE will be working with multiple levels of decision makers within the client and CVS Caremark on complex initiatives/programs/activities that require solid project management skills, the ability to think broadly and to utilize the resources across the entire CVS Caremark enterprise (including PBM, retail, MinuteClinic) to meet the needs/goals/objectives of the client and CVS Caremark. The AE responsibilities include asking effective probing questions to uncover and confirm key client needs, making effective/appropriate recommendations to satisfy client needs, effective articulation/presentation/implementation of CVS Caremark solutions and continuous excellent service. The AE will be working on a broad-based Account Team and expected to flex and modify work assignments based on the evolving needs of the client and CVS Caremark. Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of cumulative Account Management or equivalent client-facing experience. Preferred Qualifications:
Consultative selling experience and claims adjudication platform proficiency strongly desired, but not a must. Candidate must have strong project management skills. Previous PBM experience preferred. Knowledge of the Hawaii market. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build solid relationships with key client decision makers. Candidate must possess the ability to multi-task and self-start. Exhibit accurate and solid judgment in handling complex issues. Must be able to work at a fast pace and under deadline. Operate proactively with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrate ability to set and meet established goals and priorities. Knowledge of products and services along with the ability to learn quickly. Must possess ability to ask effective questions at all levels, internally and externally. Must be investigative, proactive with the ability to probe for answers. Must be able to research and sell through consultative, analytical and creative thinking. Operational savvy a significant plus. Education:
