Under the direction of the Director of Cash Operations, is responsible for overseeing the cage, vault, general cashiering operations and the pit clerk area. Incumbent is responsible for accurate accounting of transactions, financial reporting, cash handling, adherence to internal controls and compliance with the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s ICS.


Adhere to the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Policies and Procedures and ensure compliance with the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s ICS and all regulatory requirements, including governmental reporting.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist in the development of cage operational procedures.

Assist the Director in ensuring the integrity, maintenance and protection of the casino bankroll.

Ensure the accurate accounting of transactions and provides reporting and analysis.

Maintain the schedules for all subordinate positions. Approve and process vacations and requests for time off.

Track and maintain all staff overages/shortages.

Perform the weekly payroll processing for all subordinate staff.

Ensure adequate inventories of all operational supplies.

Handle customer disputes in a professional manner.

Coordinate and perform staff evaluations.

Assist in the year-end audit process.

Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc.

Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.

Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.

Demonstrate commitment to assisting in the development of Seminole Tribe members participating in the Tribal Career Development program and, when a Seminole Tribe member’s assignment falls within your direct area of responsibility, act as a personal mentor/career advisor to the Tribe Member and submit progress reports and information to the Director of Tribal Development.

Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.

Ensure appropriate staffing levels to best manage labor costs while maintaining outstanding guest service.

Stay abreast of the current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and team members as appropriate.

Maintain a safe, professional, and positive work atmosphere.

Perform other duties as assigned.


High school diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of five (5) years of casino Cash Operations experience, two of which must be in a Cage Shift Manager role. A two year college degree is preferred. Must be computer literate which includes operation of a windows computer, excel, word, and custom in house programs. Must have strong knowledge of Title 31 and tax requirements as pertains to the gaming operation. Must also have a strong working knowledge of all areas of Cash Operations, excluding the drop & count.

Additional Requirements

The candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs. The candidate must have sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform the job functions in a fast, efficient manner.
