Responsibilities :
Demonstrate a commitment to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and show leadership to foster appropriate behaviors and ensure compliance with HSE rules and policies
Perform or supervise the performance of process engineering design for oil and gas production systems which is typically part of an in-house engineering effort through front end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up
Majority of time and effort will be to support surface (topsides) facilities design, but also in conjunction with other disciplines ensure the appropriate design of production systems from well to export destination include subsea production systems, chemical delivery and export infrastructure
A large part of the process engineering effort is focused on process safety and asset integrity and the candidate is expected to exercise strong, diligent and confident leadership in this area
Provide process engineering input and oversight where projects are being executed by external contractors, operators ,e.g. lease FPSO

Additionally,candidate is expected to be able to:
Perform typical detail engineering calculations and analyses
Show leadership in driving not only sound engineering designs, but also good business decision-making
Guide others in the application of Process Engineering guidelines and ensure compliance with codes and standards
Network within Shell globally to incorporate and share knowledge and best practices
Provide peer input to projects globally on an occasional basis
Work in a team environment and handle multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision
Maintain relationships with stakeholders subsurface, flow assurance, production chemistry, discipline and project engineers, managers, counterparts in asset operating unit to ensure success of total project
Foster and support diversity and inclusiveness
Coach and mentor less experienced staff

Requirements :
Engineering Degree preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience as practicing engineer
Minimum 5 years in the oil and gas production and processing industry preferred
Experience in offshore exploration and production, including subsea developments would be preferred
Experience in front end and detail design in a project delivery context
Operational exposure in oil and gas production is a plus
Process Safety related experience is a plus
Experience with leadership and supervision
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
