Develops dealer relationships for the purpose of selling loan and lease products. Maintains a dialogue around problems and possible solutions, product needs, competitive issues, and ways to improve dealer value. At this level, the focus of the position will be retail lending; however, some associates may have commercial relationships with some dealers.
Position requires 5 plus years experience selling retail auto financing products. Must have dealership experience. In addition, the position requires consultative sales, credit analysis and solution design skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Bachelor Degree from an accredited university
Has the ability to drive individual Dealer Management meeting, effectively discussing market, action plan, competitors, and operational concerns (e.g., reserve charge backs and titles). Understands clients’ business strategies and the direction their businesses will go in the near future and can effectively sell on value of the franchise, not just price. Has the ability to sell through competitive disadvantages to leverage our value proposition. Effectively articulates our dealer programs to F&I managers and effectively develops pre-call plans to promote meaningful dialogue while in the dealership. Collects and uses industry information to better understand clients and the context of their business.
