The Naval Intelligence Community spans across many organizations that provide direct support to the Navy, Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and various Joint and Fleet Commands. Gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Navy relative to the broader Intelligence Community and work side by side with your fellow companions throughout the DOD and various other intelligence agencies.

Serve as senior technical advisor on all aspects of Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) in support of the AC/S G-2 Intelligence mission at Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC).

This position is located in Camp H. M. Smith, HI.
    KEY REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES: - Monitor theater transformation activity, force realignments and the employment for C4ISR systems to identify future requirements for C4ISR systems and capabilities.

- Identify existing C4ISR systems to address specific operational requirements.

- Analyze documents to present C4ISR issues to decision-makers for their action.

- Collaborate with Joint Service and inter-agency teams to implement C4ISR systems.

- Document C4ISR issues for presentations, decision papers, lessons learned and corrective action reports.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG-12 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing all or some of the following duties: (1) Provide mission-oriented policies, selection and employment procedures, theater and national-level Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR); (2) Coordinate planning and resources to address future C4ISR systems requirements; (3) Coordinate the integration of disparate C4ISR systems to implement new dissemination paths for national-level intelligence .

REQUIREMENTS:

All qualifications requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and clearly documented in your resume.

Selectee is required to participate in the Department of Defense direct deposit of pay program.

All new DCIPS employees must successfully complete a two-year trial period.

Selectee must complete a Special Background investigation and receive a favorable adjudication by a determining authority. A Top Secret security clearance is a requirement of this position and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to obtain and maintain this required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a position offer or removal. This position is in the excepted service. This acknowledgement is necessary as movement between the excepted service and competitive service may be limited if the employee does not possess competitive status.
