We are Growing! Director, Regional Network Services (Executive Director)

The Ohio State Unviersity Medical Center is growing in a lot of different areas. One of our areas where we are growing is the Outreach area.

This position, the Director of Regional Network Services (Executive Director) functions with a large amount of discretion and independence and is accountable for decisions, strategic direction, program development and implementation with the organization it directs.

The Executive Director is responsible for developing and implementing the strategies and goals of Ohio State Health Network (OSHN), a 501 (c) 3 and its subsidiary, Ohio Biomedical Services (OBS). The position has primary responsibility for the business affairs of these organizations. This includes responsibility for the financial affairs including budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial recording, reporting and tax filing. The Executive Director develops strategic plans, directs all administrative, operational and financial activities of OSHN and OBS. The Executive Director leads the organization toward its primary objectives of providing value and cost savings.

The Executive Director is responsible to the Board of OSHN and to the Board of OBS. Currently, you will have 3 direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications
Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or other health related field. Graduate degree preferred. Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently. Computer proficiency in word, excel, access, internet. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ongoing – Meet mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions. As applicable to Advance Practice Nurses, maintain collaborative care agreement and Certificate of Authority.

Patient Population Served: Knowledge of growth and development and an understanding of the range of treatments necessary to meet the age specific needs of the patient population served.
