The SFS Global UAT test analyst lead role will be responsible for managing cross-functional test phases and business groups to develop and execute the UAT Test Strategies across SFS.
The core business is for Custody Settlements and Corporate Actions. The candidate will have primary responsibilities for developing and executing User Acceptance Test Project Plans using the industry test standards and tools. The SFS Global UAT test management roles have four separate disciplines, Test Stream Management, Test Analyst Management, Execution Management and Defect Management. Individuals in this role will be responsible for managing cross-functional test phases and business groups to develop and execute the UAT Test Strategy.
Develop and Execute the Test Strategy Plan
Develop test coverage using the Best Practice Methodology and facilitate sessions with cross functional partners (OPS, Product, Client Delivery and Tech/SIT) to validate Business Requirements. Prepare testing estimates to project resources allocated to projects.
Project reporting for all phases of the testing lifecycle. Manage traceability and test reporting from requirements to coverage, test execution and defect management.
Lead the process with testing teams to develop test cases and scripts for front-end and back-end applications.
Recommend and implement mid course corrections to achieve testing deliverables and project deadlines.
Lead and Coordinate the execution of test scripts with offshore and cross functional test teams.
Facilitate cross functional defect management calls to report findings, validate severity levels and work with cross functional partners to determine resolution steps failed test results and potential defects.
Identify project risks based on Report and escalate problems and issues related to test execution.
Provide follow-up on the status of issues and action plans. Report and escalate problems and issues within the Defect Management process
Qualifications Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience Proficient in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and MS ACCESS
Understanding of Securities and Fund Services Product Offerings a plus. Excellent Oral and written documentation skills
Ability to interact with varying levels within the business/product, operations and technology teams
Ability to develop and document test project procedures and implement process improvements
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
The ability to learn and understand financial services, business requirements and functional requirements.
