Elant at Wappingers Falls, a 62-bed Skilled Nursing Facility is looking for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
This position has line administrative responsibilities for several operational and support departments and ensures the proper level of care is delivered and carried through for the residents of the Skilled Nursing Facility. The qualified applicant must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development. Must demonstrate the ability to assess and interpret age specific data and demonstrate the communication skills necessary to interpret age specific responses to treatment. The skills and knowledge needed to provide care and/or services specific to the age of the residents served may be gained through education, training or experience.
Qualified applicant should have: Currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in the State of New York. Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree preferred or equivalent experience. Qualified applicant should have experience in geriatric health administration, plus proven continued education credits to maintain Administrator's license. Applicant must also have strong leadership and interpersonal skills in order to work with groups of people and manage frequent contact with residents, families, staff other members of management.
