The Twitter Support team is looking for an experienced International Support Manager to lead and grow our international support operations. Our team provides high-quality customer support to Twitter's international users, and is critical to helping Twitter reach every person on the planet. The team also delivers user-focused product feedback to our product development teams and works closely with them to constantly improve features geared to our international users.
The International Support Manager will be responsible for building and developing the international support team in multiple locations around the world. Managers on the Support team need to be great leaders and motivators, and work effectively with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, sales people and business development managers. This role requires strategic vision, excellent communication skills, and strong project and people management.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a team of international support specialists to provide top notch customer support for Twitter's international users
Work closely with product and engineering teams to improve international user experiences in different languages and geographies
Set strategic goals for the team and develop roadmaps and schedules to achieve those goals
Collaborate with team members to pursue operational excellence and develop best practices for support
Monitor key performance metrics and use results to help the team be more effective in carrying out their mission of providing high-quality support, testing and user advocacy
Qualifications
3-5 years experience managing high performing teams (more experience is welcome)
Experience with international expansion and building teams in disparate locations
Proven ability to advocate within a company on behalf of international users
Track record of both strong execution and excellent people management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Multilingual candidates strongly preferred
