Job Description:
Provides knowledge and input on aircraft certification
requirements and standards as identified in 14 CFR,
Parts 1-199, FAA advisory circulars, airworthiness
directives, and other guidance/regulatory documentation
issued by the FAA’s Aircraft Certification (AIR)/Flight
Standards (AFS) offices. Applies knowledge of aircraft
inspection procedures to conduct gap analysis and
shortfall studies for research projects including
existing or proposed regulations regarding airworthiness
and/or certification issues. This person will be needed
on a part time basis only.

Job Requirements:
The candidate shall possess, at minimum, a B.S. degree
from an accredited college or university in an
engineering field. A candidate that possesses a master’s
degree from an accredited college or university will be
granted two years towards years of service. The
candidate must have acquired fifteen or more years of
experience as either an aviation industry designated
engineering representative, or as an employee of an
aircraft (or aircraft equipment) design/manufacturing
company. This person will be needed on a part time basis
