Revenue / Senior Revenue Accountant Are YOU looking to join an exploration and production company within the oil & gas industry? Do YOU have 3+ years experience working in a revenue accounting role in upstream oil & gas? The Revenue / Senior Revenue Accountant will be a member of the Company's Revenue Accounting Group. Responsibilities include: recording both operated and non-operated revenue; allocations; severance tax and royalty reports and payments; payout statements; gas balancing statements; account reconciliations; unclaimed property reporting; and monthly close processing. You will also work with the Land Department on suspense maintenance and releases. Qualifications: 3+ years experience in revenue accounting with an E&P company Strong understanding of computer applications; proficiency in MS Office products (MS Word, Excel); experience with Excalibur and Hyperion Essbase is preferred Must possess strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact and communicate with affiliates, partners and other departments Proven ability to function successfully independently and as an integral member of the Revenue team Must be highly analytical and inquisitive with strong organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and ability to meet monthly deadlines and goals Nearterm Oil & Gas is a Houston, Texas based professional and technical search firm committed to placing the best qualified candidates in the upstream oil & gas industry.
