Purpose Of Role:

The role holder is a Client Sales Executive, responsible for delivering profitable growth in a managed or target account. The CSE is also the principal source of knowledge on the BTGS portfolio within an account team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Client landscaping, development of sales plans and their successful execution to grow profitable business.

· Lead and manage opportunities through the sales lifecycle to closure

· Sales planning and sales forecasting

· To establish & maintain key customers relationships

· Assist BTGS to migrating rapidly to the target portfolio of 70%(standard, off the shelf products and services): 20% (integration of standard components): 10% (bespoke delivery)

· Improve bid to win ratios, particularly on new contract business

Business Impact:

· Building customer relationships

· Closing profitable business with a client both through lateral and serial extension selling as well as new business

· Minimising the penetration of competitors into a client account

Authority/Decision Making:

· Manage the application of sales resources to win business

Qualifications:

· Degree and relevant job experience

Skills/Experience:
  • Technical Sales and/or Complex Solution Sales
  • Complex deal architecture, development, and management
  • Significant experience within a large enterprise sales environment
  • Evidence of driving up profit from customers and achieving targets
  • Excellent communications & negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the BTGS portfolio
