Senior Machine Maintenance Technician
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on multiple types of manufacturing equipment, including adjustments, routine set up changes and machine rebuilds. Provide routine coverage of production line equipment, including rapid response on broken equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This position is 7

50% mechanical and 50% machine controls. Provide support to internal customers and vendors as needed. Perform analytical troubleshooting, provide technical leadership to other technicians, repair parts and technical data/information and provide overall support for all aspects of manufacturing operations. Perform machinist duties and responsibilities related to operating a lathe, drill press, surface grinder, milling machine and other equipment.



Minimum of 5+ years or directly related machine maintenance experience in a production machine shop environment. Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills. Thorough understanding of ladder logic and basic PLC troubleshooting skills. Heat treating equipment experience is preferred. Ability to read all types of electrical schematics and mechanical prints.

An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a preferred; directly related work experience will be considered in lieu of education.

Must be computer literacy, and experience with MS Office applications. Ability to work in a team environment; self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated commitment to organizational and departmental objectives, sense of urgency, and ability to set priorities.

Must be able to work 2nd shift hours, and overtime as needed; working 1-2 Saturdays per month is standard, additional weekend overtime may be required on short notice.

Must be able to lift 40lbs consistently.
