Sales Representative to respond and create customer needs and wants through planned, personalized communication to influence purchasing decisions of our products and services in an assigned area.

The selling role will focus attention on the Forestry and Logging markets with Caterpillar Forest Products and Peterson Chipping Equipment being the main product lines sold.

The role is based out of the Midlands. The ideal Candidate must have the following:

Field sales experience and be comfortable in a commission sales environment.

Comfortable selling larger ticket items: Customer sell price of these products range from $200 to $600K.

Be hands on and realize that this product is sold by demonstrating it operational advantages successfully.

Ability to work independently.


Minimum of 5 years field sales experience in the Forestry/Logging industry.

Must be familiar with equipment similar to Caterpillar Forest Products.

Minimum 3 years of Technical Experience: The ideal candidate must have a solid knowledge and/or interest to learn the inner-workings of the machinery's operation

Strong communicative and persuasive skills

Good organizational characteristics

Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated

Must be a team player
