Duties & Responsibilities
The Inventory Clerk counts, weighs and measures incoming shipments. Completes receipt and issues aspects of interunit transfers from business unit to business unit. Express issues material from People Soft. Issues material for work orders. Inputs and reconciles cycle count. Puts away inventory controlled items. Maintains customer furnished parts in People Soft. Pulls and puts away and sets-up locations within Fast Pik System. Issues materials, closes PIDS and performs cycle counts for Hi-Jump Bar Code System. Serializes components with in PID for assembly and data book integrity with in People Soft using Serial Genealogy Process. Pulls orders from job stage locations. Takes orders from the receiving area. Operates forklift to load and unload trucks. Arranges material and equipment as needed. Clears goods for entry into system. Operates tier lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. Drives company vehicles from time to time, as required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) year related experience and/or training is required. Requires a working knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar software. Must have the ability to enter and extract information from a Product Data Management database. Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word is required.
