Job Description

Planner/Inventory Control Clerk

Duties Include:
· Run MRP negative list and reconcile problems
· Run Tire report and order tires
· Run negative on hand list and reconcile
· Amend purchase order requests by phone and email
· Make decisions and communicate for production shortages with emails phone calls
· Check availability of product for other departments
· Run inventory reports
· Transfer reports to spreadsheets
· Update and send firm orders to each supplier with a vendor schedule website
· Create purchase orders for purchasing that are not vendor schedule website suppliers
· Create Tubing loads
· Transport planning
· Responsible for ISO procedures
· Communicate with Production Control and Sales on moving orders in system

The ideal candidate should have following skills and experience:
2 years of experience with advanced level Excel
2 years of experience with PowerPoint
Good communication skills on the corporate level
Create and communicate logistics information
Communicate shortage reports to appropriate people in a timely manner
Multi-task skills
MRP planning experience
Working knowledge of the AS400: Create Queries when needed
Self-motivation and dedication to getting the job done in a timely manner

40 hour week unless extra hours are required to make the production schedule
