Responsibilities: Responsible for the management of internal development/testing environments from the bare servers to kickstart, OS application, package and configuration management. Administration of the customized kickstart automation system and maintenance of the Solaris jumpstart system. Virtual systems administration, database and storage infrastructure support. Deployment and management of automated configuration management with Puppet.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Computer Systems Analyst, Associate Operations Manager, Programmer Analyst, Senior Consultant or related field.

Special Requirements: In depth knowledge and experience in Linux; Solaris; Kickstart; Hypervisor administration; Unix security and operating system theory and fundamentals; secure authentication mechanisms; and large-scale web applications and databases. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
