adolescent development and/or special education in the early childhood, elementary and secondary certification programs . The successful applicant must have at least a master’s degree in early education, human development, special education or related field, as well as 3 years teaching experience at the elementary, middle or secondary levels. Experience teaching in higher education and supervising teacher candidates in the field is important. Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in child/human development/special education and for supervising clinical experiences and student teachers. The successful candidate will be expected to advise students, participate in department committees, and engage in creative activities.
