This position is responsible for analyzing, testing and implementing new software and changes to current software. This incumbent may participate in the design and selection of new software.
Essential Functions:
40% Designs and codes new reports, programs and other software according to departmental and Company guidelines. Designs and codes modifications to existing software. Tests all code written or modified. Partners with the testing team for regression and quality assurance testing.
25% Analyzes, researches and designs solutions of moderately complex issues by analyzing identifiable factors. May collaborate with more experienced staff or outside vendors to facilitate resolving issues.
10% Writes or revises system and operation documentation for new and existing programs and systems in accordance with Company and client standards.
10% Assists more experienced programming staff in the design of new technologies. May assist less experienced programming staff as needed.
10% Participates in the review of end users requirements and in the planning, researching, designing and evaluation of new software.
5% Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Four year degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience; 0-2 years Information Systems or business related experience; experience in specific programming languages as required by the contract and/or project.
Seeking a developer with .NET skills for application development projects.
Positions working on specific contracts may require U.S. Citizenship.
Because of the nature and immediacy of the work, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance is essential.
Additional Comments:
Some on call duty may be required.
