Window and Door Manufacturing seeking individuals with 3 to 5 plus years Strong Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment.

General Aluminum Account Representatives resolve problems, receive and process purchase orders, answer customer inquiries, and educate customers on product knowledge and procedures.

Therefore, a GA Representative is held to a high standard and surpasses the job requirements listed below. A GA Representative is expected to be extremely motivated to exceed customer expectations.

General Aluminum Account Representatives duties include but are not limited to: Foster, gain, develop and maintain customer confidence in General Aluminum Customer Service. Answer high volume of incoming calls. Retrieval and return of all messages hourly. Process, price and type customer Purchase Orders into the computer order system. Meets and exceeds daily deadlines for entry, editing and changes. Works diligently to finish assignments early to provide support for department needs as required. Maintains a working knowledge customer’s Purchase Orders through complete order process including the delivery and invoicing. Communicates as needed with all related departments. Maintains an order entry proficiency rating that meets or exceeds department averages. Research and resolve customer concerns and complaints expediently. Maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude with all customers. Communicates distinctly and clearly all aspects of information to resolve issues. Maintain customer information unique to their product requirements and update all other Account Representative with same information. Trains and acquires clear understanding of product knowledge and rules to enter orders accurately and concisely. Communicates well and prioritizes necessary responses and completion of request as submitted by Customers, Supervisors, Peers and Subordinates. Uses all modes of communication to provide information through phone, email, fax, written and/or in person. Fulfills and completes additional requested duties, projects and other activities for department and company as needed.

Required knowledge for this position that includes but is not limited to: Competency in computer function and usage. Understands and is proficient in basic software such as spread sheets, word processing and online communications such as email. Understands and can handle common math such as fractions, decimals and basic geometry. Knowledge and experience in basic office equipment usage such as fax, copier, computer, calculators and multi line phones. Command of English language, writing, spelling, grammar and strong verbal skills. Knowledgeable in Telecommunication methods such as phone, faxes, email, texting and chat. College degree preferred. High School Diploma with Comparable work experience accepted.
