General Description

Perform a variety of specialized, complex activities coordination with the PRMO Human Resources department. Strong emphasis on project planning, proactive problem resolution (employee and management consultation) as well staff education related to HR policies and practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work Culture/Projects
Develop work plans to include identification of financial and people resources to execute organization- wide projects related to rewards and recognition, employee events and work culture initiatives. Such work culture initiatives include but are not limited to Town Hall Meetings, various methods of recognition/career service awards, Onboarding, Employee Appreciation, Manager Meetings and training associated with work culture leadership initiatives. Participate in departmental Work Culture interventions and support organizational Work Culture Team Champion groups.

Employee Relations
Triage employee relations calls by advising and assisting PRMO management and employees to respond to employee issues and concerns by interpreting applicable HR policies and procedures and making responsible recommendations in these areas as necessary and appropriate. Resolves semi- complex employee relations issues. Identify problem employee relations areas that impede organizational progress; recommend appropriate interventions and/or other corrective actions as needed. Initiate recommendations for appropriate measures to address underlying systemic problems or issues represented by the expressed concern, including but not limited to, suggestions on policy clarification or development, appropriate training or other development interventions. Apprise HR Director and HR Manager of organizational issues, problems or trends and provide appropriate recommendations or conclusions as necessary or requested. Conduct semi-annual personnel file audits by trending results.

Participate in 30, 60, 90 day events, summarize topics discussed and complete follow-up as needed. Develop reports and disseminate to PRMO senior leadership suggesting ways to increase retention and change recruitment strategies and onboarding processes. Serve as a liaison with the PRMO Learning Center by partnering to enhance the total onboarding process of staff.

Develop and execute the overall communication strategy for organization-wide initiatives and policies. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Human Resources Practices Minimum Qualifications
Education Work requires organizational, analytical and communication skills acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program
Experience Work requires two years of business, administrative and/or supervisory experience with exposure to supervisory or human resource policies and practices related to employee relations. A master's degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
