Role Purpose
The Executive Assistant will provide executive administrative assistance and support to the Chairman of NBCUniversal Hispanic Enterprises and Content. The person in this position will impact effectiveness of all executive communication and administration within the department and will be critical in coordinating across all Platforms within the Chairman’s executive group

Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative duties to support Chairman, including but not limited to the following:
  • Act as liaison between Chairman and all internal departments and external business associates to ensure that all matters are attended to in an efficient and timely manner- representing the Chairman and platforms well
  • Manage high level call volume to ensure that attention is always given to the most urgent requests first
  • Manage Chairman’s calendar including setting up meetings with internal and external contacts
  • Make travel arrangements, meticulously track expenses and file timely business expense reports.
  • Manage & update Chairman’s contact databases
  • Occasional travel: must have schedule flexibility
  • Point person in gathering and disseminating information to multiple locations
  • Support Chairman’s staff on various projects/events/offsites
  • Field calls and communications with Executives, Agents and Talent as necessary
  • Collect and organize documents for Chairman
  • Maintain extensive records and files
  • Read entertainment trades for industry articles, trends and competitive notes
  • Write conference reports for select meetings and assist in special projects as requested

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5+ years entertainment experience
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish / English
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Minimum 5 year experience working with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

  • Experience in an executive support position where duties include:
  • Coordinating communications across Chairman’s multiple platforms/channels/brands/divisions
  • Experience interfacing with C-suite level leadership and Corporate Boards
  • Self-starter interested in learning about all facets of the television industry
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Be discreet and be able to handle highly confidential information
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy
  • Must be technically savvy with the ability to problem solve
  • Able to exercise good judgment
  • Flexible team player with ability to juggle several tasks at once
