Position Description:
The Tech Writer/Administrative Specialist shall provide monthly In-Process Review reports (IPRs) and conduct monthly IPR meetings with government personnel to review the status of projects in the report and discuss issues of concern. The reports shall be provided and the meetings held within 15 calendar days following the end of the month.

The monthly report shall include the following components:
Project description
Major accomplishments and deliverables
Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) statistics for each subtask
Priority projects
Staffing status, including GFP information
Financial status, including Work Request (WR) funding and hours burned
Risk, issues, concerns and mitigation strategies

The resource along with the Program Manager and appropriate technical personnel shall meet with client representatives to review the monthly report. These meetings will take place at the direction of the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). To promote a successful review the contractor shall:

Be prepared to discuss date and projections in the report
Recommend solutions to any problems identified
Be prepared with revised plans as required
Assist in identifying issues and accept actions to resolve them

The resources Project Manager and technical personnel (if required) shall attend ad-hoc meetings with IRS personnel to discuss immediate issues of concern to the project.

Required Skills :
Prepares and/or maintaining systems, programming, and operations documentation, procedures, and methods including user manuals. Maintains a current internal documentation library.
Provides or coordinates special documentation services as required.
Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of documentation. May act as project leader for large jobs.
Very knowledgeable in computer-based documentation and presentation techniques, technical writing, technical proofreading and technical editing.
Demonstrates superior grammar oral and written communication skills. May serve as a Team Lead.

Education Requirement :
Bachelors' degree at minimum.

Clearance Requirements :
Ability to obtain approved background clearance at the Moderate level
