The Omni Providence is currently seeking a Director of Sales &
Marketing for this 564 room hotel connected to the Rhode Island
Convention Center. The property is located in downtown Providence
within walking distance of many gourmet restaurants and historical

The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for the
entire sales division: revenue, group sales, business transient sales
and catering and convention departments. Will have the passion and
drive to find new revenue opportunities; a strategist who understands
their competitive set and plans to own the market. Must have a proven
track record of motivating managers and associates to meet and exceed
sales goals and to provide the highest quality experience for our
guests and clients.

The Ideal Candidate for this Position

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years previous
experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing and a 4 year
bachelors degree. Majority of experience must be with a luxury
property. Must have proven tenure in past positions. Will possess
strong communication, leadership, and financial skills and be able to
inspire excellence at all levels. Must have previous experience in
public relations and writing marketing plans.
