Work in an exciting and dynamic, team-oriented environment that combines technical engineering talent with business and security consulting skills to deliver high-quality client IA solutions. Serve as a Linux and UNIX subject matter expert (SME) conducting vulnerability assessments of installed Linux and UNIX operating systems. Review operating systems using department of defense (DoD) and industry standard tools to identify and document system vulnerabilities. Conduct analysis of results and prepare standard reports while interfacing through a senior team leader directly to the client.
-2+ years of experience with administering or auditing Linux and UNIX systems
-2+ years of experience with using DoD tools, including SRR scripts and security technical implementation guides (STIGs)
-Experience with SCAP Compliance Checker
-Ability to travel 50%
-HS diploma or GED
-DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
-1+ years of experience with DISA CCRI standards
-1+ years of experience with Vulnerability Management System (VMS)
-Experience with DISA UNIX SRR Training
-Experience with implementing or administrating Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
-Linux+, Solaris, or Redhat Certifications
-Security+, CISSP, GSLC, or Windows Certifications
