North Georgia College & State University is currently accepting applications for a finance position in the Mike Cottrell School of Business. This is an open rank, full-time, tenure-track position in the Cottrell School, an AACSB-accredited program.
North Georgia is a regional university in the University System of Georgia. The Cottrell School offers its BBA program on campuses in Dahlonega and Gainesville, and its MBA program in Cumming, Georgia. North Georgia enrolls approximately 6,000 students and is located in pristine Dahlonega, one hour north of Atlanta. The region offers abundant cultural and recreational opportunities and an outstanding quality of life.
Job duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising students, rendering professional service to the institution and community, and pursuing an active scholarship program. Scholarship is expected to be consistent with AACSB accreditation standards. Suitable applicants must demonstrate excellent communication and instructional skills as well as the interpersonal skills to work successfully with others across the university and in community service initiatives.
A doctoral degree from an AACSB accredited university is required for the tenure-track position; however, ABDs may be considered for a temporary appointment.
