Position Summary:
The primary function of this role will be the management and continual development of financial and business analytics that feed into the forecast process. The manager of financial analysis will work closely with departments throughout the organization to data-mine, create analytical models and present information that enhances the forecast process.

Essential Functions:
Support APR/Yield Forecasting through model enhancements, data expansion, and cross organization interaction.
Support Balance Transfer Planning and Profitability in collaboration with Marketing, including development of Daily Forecasting, Fee Forecasting, Balance Transfer Profitability and other related aspects.
Proactively drive analytics on other major P&L line items (heavy focus on revenue side).
Work closely with Finance Planning team to ensure timely inputs into process, ranging from weekly O&R updates to corporate level forecasts.
Produce various outputs, including, but not limited to, data audits, trend graphs, datasets used in developing bank wide reporting, and P&L variance analysis.
Support segment reporting by developing partner, segment, and market level data and create models that allow for adaptability should segmentation change.
Support short-term and long-term initiatives (tracking, validation, analytics)
Maintenance and improvement of the current analytical and forecast processes through model development in both SAS and Excel environments.

Qualifications:
Degree in financial or accounting discipline required.
Minimum 5 years experience with analytics in Bank Cards or related financial service industry; an understanding of a credit card P&L is a big plus for success in this role.
Very high proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Excel
Experience with ESSBASE and SAS a plus
Ability to handle variety of responsibilities, meet deadlines, and drive change in a matrix organization.
Very high attention to detail and sense of urgency required
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Result oriented with the ability to bring closure to issues through working well with individuals and teams throughout the organization.
