Craft Brew Alliance representing high quality hand crafted beers with a portfolio from Widmer Brothers Brewing Company, Redhook Brewery, Kona Brewing Co. and Omission has an immediate opening for a Field Marketing Manager, Mid-Atlantic . This position reports to the Field Marketing Director and is responsible for assisting in extending and customizing national brand plans to local markets. Other responsibilities include creating and building retail programs to bring brands to life and drive sales. Collaborate with colleagues in Field Sales and National Retail Sales to develop annual and trimester regional plans. Ensure brand objectives and messaging is carried through every local market initiative, including brand specific promotions, events, sponsorships, media, etc.

Specific job duties:
Assist Field Marketing Director and Collaborate with Field Sales and National Retail Sales to develop annual and trimester regional marketing plans, including customization of programs, sales materials, POS, coupons, incentives, media, etc. by geography, customer or channel
Assist Field Marketing Director in execution of programs, providing single point of contact with revenue management, merchandising, etc.
Actively participate in market on a weekly basis –understand local media and suggest opportunities to Field Marketing Director
Accurately manage budget within assigned area of responsibility – providing monthly updates
Coordinate and act as key contact on brand focus by month and new brand releases
Source, coordinate and participate in signature events and sponsorship opportunities to drive brand awareness and consumer interaction in the market place – act as the point person in the division for all events and sponsorships
Manage seasonal representatives to ensure market relevance and impact
Evaluation of programs within legal and regulatory limitations of division
Work with wholesalers and Field Sales colleagues to ensure events, sponsorships, sampling and on/off-premise promotions are consistent with brand strategy
Provide constant market feedback and needs to Field Marketing Director
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management
Bachelors degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent industry experience required
5 Years beverage industry marketing/sales/event management experience required
Local resident in the Washington, DC area or willingness to relocate there
