Position Overview:

Sales Operations Specialists are responsible for supporting the overall sales efforts for DHI and Recombinant's products and services. Specifically, the individual is responsible for supporting sales process and operations (CRM system management, financial and forecast reporting, integration with marketing and sales campaigns, events and tactical events, building and documenting a network of contacts within target accounts, to include qualifying the opportunity and scheduling sales meetings. DHI and Recombinant Sales Team will leverage these relationships to introduce Deloitte Health Informatics LLC and Recombinant by Deloitte, and create and pursue selling opportunities, which will require teamwork, fostering of relationships and developing consensus. Candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit, relevant industry experience and demonstrated selling attributes/techniques.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop extensive product and service offering knowledge;
· Supports the success of the DHI and Recombinant Sales Team, including Account Managers, and Business Development Sales Representatives by:

o Creating awareness, developing leads, building a network of key industry contacts

o Qualifying leads into opportunities at key accounts

o Developing solid sales scripts and pitch-books as needed

o Setting well-qualified meetings and assisting sales leader/BDMs to present products to key decision makers; follow-up with clients as required

o Setting up and administering salesforce.com, tailored to the needs of DHI and Recombinant products

o Maintaining opportunity information in salesforce.com throughout lifecycle

o Sales pipeline and metrics reporting to support leaders with business planning and forecasting and sales tracking and risk mitigation

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a significant level of networking and lead generation experience to large and mid-market accounts selling software solutions in an environment characterized by long sales cycles and complex sales transactions

· B.A./B.S;

· Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales and/or marketing role preferably in Life Sciences or Healthcare Information Technology markets

· Good understanding of typical sales funnel and pipeline stages

· Minimum of 3 years experience with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced level Excel and PowerPoint skills, salesforce.com administration, reporting and sales process tracking;

· Ability and willingness to travel as needed (frequency is dependent on the office location and project assignment;

· Strong communication skills to develop sales collateral, make sales calls, etc.

· Experience producing and delivering appropriate communications to the Executive Level;

· Experience summarizing results and producing management reports;

· Outstanding attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines;

· Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team;

· Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;

· Ability to "think outside the box" while identifying problems and developing creative solutions.

Preferred Skills:

· Major in Marketing, Communications, or Business Management;

· Experience in using and administering Salesforce.com to create customized DHI and Recombinant content, forecast reporting, funnel and lead opportunity management;

· Experience supervising and/or managing resources;

· Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project applications;

· Experience in a client-service environment; consulting experience is a plus;

· Ability to manage databases like HIMSS Analytics for market segmentation and targeting.
