We are looking for summer interns for application-driven architectural analysis research aimed at emerging compute- and data-intensive applications. Intern will be expected to contribute novel algorithms and / or architectural insights for scaling performance as compute resources and problem/data sizes scale - all in the context of upcoming architectural trends, such as, upcoming architecture trends, such as, multi/many-core, reconfigurable, GPU, heterogeneous computing, and technology trends, such as, memory technology, process and reliability trends.
Required: PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with relevant research experience. Preference will be given to those with strong expertise in one or more of modern large-scale parallel processing platforms.
