We are looking for a Content Acquisition Manager to join us at our fast paced, well-funded B2B startup in the online media space. Our clients are large media companies who use our Platform API to integrate high quality news and multimedia content onto their sites.
NewsCred connects publishers and brands with the world’s best journalism. We license, curate and syndicate full text articles, photos and video from sources like The Economist, The Guardian, Reuters and Forbes, helping our clients create customized content experiences to drive traffic and build new revenue. By fusing game-changing technology, premium content and a world-class editorial team, we’re reinventing news.
Identify, negotiate and close deals with premium content providers for inclusion in NewsCred services.
Manage ongoing relationships and day-to-day communications with content partners.
Work with Sales & Content Team to develop content strategies to enhance NewsCred products.
Work with Marketing, Content Team and other internal constituents to ensure promotion and successful integration of partner content.
Work with legal to negotiate content agreements and improve agreement templates to cover new business opportunities.
Minimum 4 years experience in business development, content acquisition, online media or similar industries.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage business development relationships and close deals.
Interest in news/entertainment/sports is a plus.
