The human resources coordinator will provide the clerical and administrative services necessary to effect and maintain a smooth and orderly office operation for the department. In addition, have responsibility for participating in the development and administration of team member services/activities and employee relations programs. The human resources coordinator will also provide assistance to team members on a regular basis. Maintaining traffic flow of reception area Assist the coordination of team member events Administer unemployment , workers compensation and disability Maintain team member files related to benefits/filing training acknowledgements Administer 401K Plan Assist in all team member recognition programs Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Involvement - Blood Drive, Toys for Tots, Flu Shot, Health Fair, Walkathon, etc.
Administer COBRA Assist with yearly Benefits open enrollment Assist team members with questions regarding benefits. Respond to heavy volume of telephone calls in a timely and courteous manner taking messages or forwarding to appropriate alternate sources when required. Maintain team members files Type all office correspondence including, but not limited to memoranda, letters, minutes of meetings and verification of employment letters. Input new hires to ADP time and attendance system Maintain good inventory of office supplies and handle office supplies requisition.
Assist applicants with completion of application forms and assist candidates with pre employment forms i.e. drug test and background check.
