Provide overall planning, coordination, scheduling, communication, and administrative support for the Sustaining Engineering Department. The position objective is to effect continuous performance and financial improvement in the department operations by optimizing the department resources. The Coordinator must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to set and manage multiple priorities, and make independent, on-the-spot decisions to ensure the smooth and professional operation of the department.

Basic Qualifications

Establish and maintain a performance database of engineering demand, backlog, assignments, and status.
Develop reports and other means to track performance, progress, development, schedules, budget and capacity forecasts for the staff and department.
Generate weekly, monthly, and annual status reports on performance, budget, accomplishments, and workload of support teams and Parks.
Coordinate administrative support and training for over 20 engineers in the Sustaining Engineering department.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office experience ( Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with attention to details
Demonstrated strong partnering, and communications skills
Handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality, timely work products within very tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and aptitude to quickly learn and use other advanced software packages like SAP, SmarTeam and MAXIMO.
Ability to work independently with general direction, but maturity to seek guidance/approval and communicate as appropriate
Experience working with technical personnel
Technical writing skills
Proof reading experience

Required Education
Associate’s degree or higher
